Tai Chi Retreats-
Terms and Conditions
- It is advisable to check with your G.P. before starting any new training
- Although even effort is made to make safe pathways and Tai Chi areas,
the grounds are uneven. It is suggested that footwear is worn at all times
and that visitors take care when walking.
- All visitors should be aware that there are a number of steps and also
slopes within the grounds.
- There will be a member of LotusLeaf Tai Chi on site (either on the Tai
Chi area, or in the bottom garden) at all times in case of emergence or
query.
- The two areas of ground are separated. We ask that all visitors please
stick to the advised routes when traveling between one and the other.
- The bottom garden may be closed at any time for maintenance work.
- All Visitors must stick to the areas shown as open (on the first day
of the retreat). Lands around the camp area are in private ownership.
- Any visitors not staying within the grounds have to make their own way
to and from their accommodation.
- Any food provided is cooked on site and will be vegetarian at least
and possibly vegan. Visitors are not obliged to partake.
- Fires and BBQs only allowed in designated areas. Fire wood available
on request (£5.00 per bag). Fires are started at own risk.
- Undercover training venue will be provided if outside area can not be
used. This will either be on site or within a close distance.
- Students are not obliges to take part in any activity offered within
the retreats.
- People under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The adult
is responsible for the minors behaviour.
- The retreats are designed to be relaxing and quiet. We ask that all
visitors please respect others in their activities. Any disturbance caused
may lead to being asked to leave, with no refund.
- No stereos / music equipment is allowed on site. Instruments only at
the officials discretion.
- No dogs or other pets please
- Information sheets will be provided . If you need these in large print,
please contact us.
- LotusLeaf Tai Chi can not and will not be held responsible to any acts
of nature causing damage to person (s) or belongings and property.
- Car parking will be made available but cars are left at owners own risk
- Deposits. A £25 per person deposit must be sent when booking.
This is only returnable within the terms and conditions laid down here
- Returning deposits. Deposits will only be returned if place(s) are cancelled
before 28 days of start of retreat/camp. If cancellation occurs within
28 days of the retreat, returns will be at the discretion of LotusLeaf
Tai Chi and The Seedling.
The remaining balance must be paid within 7 days of invoice being sent
(normally 28-14 days before start of camp). If the remainder is not produced
then LotusLeaf Tai Chi and The Seedling have the right to rebook the place
(s) and not return the deposit.
- LotusLeaf Tai Chi and The Seedling have the right to cancel any retreat/camp
before 28 days of start. Any monies sent will be returned and alternative
dates offered
- All Therapist are insured and fully trained. Any therapy is undertaken
at your own risk, The Seedling nor LotusLeaf Tai Chi will take any responsibility
for any therapies carried out on or off site.
- All special needs, whether dietary or otherwise, must be made clear
on the booking form. Provisions can not and will not be made once the
camp has started.
