Tai Chi Retreats-
Accommodation and facilities

With a choice of camping on site or using one of the local B&B or hotels, our retreats cater for the adventurous and those who like their comforts.

Camping.
We have a small camping area on site which is made available to those attending the retreats. A maximum space for 6 two person tents (or fewer bigger tents) gives a private and more personal feel. There are areas where barbeques and fires can be lit for cooking or you can bring along your own equipment. Firewood will be available on request for a charge. Fires are lit at individuals own risk and all visitors must be aware that the area can be tinder dry in a good year. The big tent will be available throughout the retreat and there will be a small camping gas stove and kettle for all our visitors to use. Washing and washing up facilities are limited (see under heading of water below)

Staying outside the grounds.
All visitors are welcome to utilise the external facilities and there are hotels and B&Bs in the nearby area. Please visit the Forest of Dean Tourism site for information on accommodation. Any visitor staying outside the grounds must make their own way to and from the site.

Facilities.
The facilities on site are limited, as we try hard to work in harmony with Nature, both within the Retreats and on site management.

Toilets - We use earth closet toilets, which are dug specially each year and maintained during the camp. They are perfectly hygienic and environmentally sound. There are normal toilets available off site if you prefer.

Water - We have no running water on site at the current time. Drinking and cooking water will be supplied each day in big containers and should you run out, will be refilled as quickly as possible. Washing and washing up water will be onsite in a large storage unit.

Waste - Compost bins and recycling boxes are onsite and any non reuseable waste will be collected. We ask all visitors to try and keep waste to a minimum and be vigilant as to clearing up their own rubbish.
